Even if you have every intention of staying in the rental for the term of the lease, you will still want to be aware of the policy for exiting the lease. You never know what will happen in the future and if for some reason you may need to move, you will want to be aware of what is involved. Most landlords just want to receive rent each month. The tenant is usually responsible for paying the rent until the home is rented, however, under drastic situations the landlord has the right to ask you to vacate the apartment and find a replacement tenant to take over lease.
